•  A large coalition of community members has launched a campaign to amend this law

4. Chickens are a natural pesticide & fertilizer for your garden

8. Houston ...to name a few

Proposed Changes to City Code 
 

• Allow for a small flock of hens in the backyard
• Prohibit keeping chickens for slaughter
• Maintain a well-kept coop and chicken run enclosure
